Gregarious fox knows better than most
His fluffy red tail a magical wand
Painting with hues subliminal and
bright.
Red brick walls to cover the mansions
In orange juices and yellow flares
Like green lights yelling “Go!”
Adrenaline roosts in the blue-bells
With indigo clouds swirling white
In a garden of violet fireflies at
night.
Gregarious fox knows better than I
Twirling around his magical tail
Painting the world with a rainbow
smile.
Oh I love the artful fox too, and really enjoyed your colorful poem! Especially his rainbow smile.

DeleteThe expression 'wise as a fox' is true, I think....as foxes really ARE wise to the ways of the world. I like the idea of the fox's magical tale and rainbow smile. Beautiful picture too, Kenn.
ReplyDeleteThe picture wasn't my own, but the artist did a great job of capturing what I was looking for. Foxes are truly one of the wisest animals I've ever seen. More so than any hooting owl.

ReplyDeleteNot sure if they are wily-er than Wily Coyote, but they are definitely intelligent animals. Did you know that the fox is actually considered to be a of the canine family?
